Description

Robin Harawey and Alren

I originally wrote a few paragraphs for this scene, but I changed my mind about posting them. I'd rather hear how you interpret this image, given only names and title. Characters are mine, if the stocks are not.

I had few problems with this piece, but those I had were annoying. It took me 6 hrs to find the sword (actually, it's not even a sword. I gave up and began to look for daggers instead) - 98% of the sword stock on dA is from a frontal angle. And could you please tell me whether this version or this [link] looks better on your comp? My screen's really messed up.

WALKTHROUGH:[link]

I would like to dedicate this to =NHuval-stock. Thank you for your response (all of them) on Aerial Station.

To all other stock artists: if I'd been more productive, I'd have made you all a piece each  Thank you so much for sharing.

1. Romance by *Iardacil . Had the scene in my mind, but her piece made me realize how I would do it.
2. I used a particular scene from a movie as reference for the cave (where to put stones and create depth). Cookie for you if you can guess which movie.

this is a great piece! I really enjoy the rugged organic feel on the walls of the cave! Also something about the lighting draws me in, almost like the contrast between the roof of the cave and the light makes a fantasy type feel. The only thing that could use some improvement is how the light travels through the fog, like the fog is a flat surface on its own. Other than that, this is an amazing piece and catches the viewers eye drawing them in, making them want to see what exactly what the subject matter is. Good job!
